In order to strengthen the position of these sectors even more, the government works alongside the business community, universities and research centers. MIT focuses on the following Top Sectors:
- Agriculture & Food
- Chemistry
- Creative Industry
- High-tech Systems & Materials and ICT
- Life Science & Health
- Logistics
- Horticulture & Propagation materials
- Water
MIT feasibility projects
The MIT subsidy for feasibility projects is intended for SMEs who want to identify the technical and economic risks of an innovation project. You can receive a maximum amount of €20,000.
MIT-R&D cooperation projects
The MIT subsidy for collaborative projects is intended for SMEs who work together on the renewal or development of a product, production process or service. In this case, the subsidy amounts to a maximum of €200,000 per collaborative project, or €100,000 per participant.
Who is eligible for a subsidy?
Depending on the component, a subsidy can be provided to an SME or a Top Consortium for Knowledge and Innovation (TKI). Within a TKI, entrepreneurs and scientists work together in the field of research and are looking for ways to market innovations together.
